Frequently Asked Questions

Do your products contain nuts?

Some of our recipes contain nuts whilst others don't, however, since we do use nuts in the bakery, we advise that our nut-free blends 'may contain traces of nuts'. Of course, we follow high standards to prevent the risk of cross contamination but legally, we are obliged to give 'may contain traces' advice.

Are your products gluten-free?

The majority of our products are gluten-free and wheat-free as we use certified gluten-free oats in all of our granolas and porridges. Our biscuits contain wheat flour and are not gluten-free.

Does your granola contain refined sugar?

No, all of our granolas are free from refined sugar; we use 100% pure wildflower honey.

Are your granolas organic?

We use a great range of ingredients and therefore choose not to certify our granolas as organic. This means that we have the freedom to select our grains, nuts, seeds and often rare fruits for environmentally responsible growing as well as for flavour, provenance and nutrition - all of which are very important to us!

You can read more around our thoughts on this here.

How long will your granola last?

If your granola is sealed or stored in an airtight container at room temperature, it will last for 12 - 16 weeks. You can also freeze the pillow bags once open for extra freshness and decant as much as you need into one of our glass granola jars which will hold the granola as it thaws back to its original state.

What’s the best way of storing it?

The best way of keeping our granola fresh is by storing it in an air-tight jar. Our pillow bags can also be stored in the freezer for extended shelf life - just take it out and defrost when you’re ready to eat.

Do you make anything else other than granola?

We are pleased to bake our popular ANZAC biscuits all year round, we also have freshly milled flour all year round, half pound jars of honey, puffed rice and bran sticks.

We also have a range of delicious porridges available in the winter months.

Where can we find your bakery?

We are lucky to have our bakery in the heart of Spa Terminus in Bermondsey,. Our neighbours are a collection of like-minded independent food producers including Natoora, Neal's Yard Dairy, Monmouth Coffee and many, many more.

When are you open?

At the moment, we are open on Fridays 10-3 as well as Saturdays 9-2 which is our traditional opening day. Please bear in mind, we are a functioning bakery and warehouse rather than a 'shop' and as such we might be in admin, production (or covered in oats!) when you visit.

We have a flat postage & packing cost of £6 for tracked delivery anywhere in the UK.

If you order before 1pm Monday to Friday, we will endeavor to dispatch the same day with 24 hour delivery for working days (subject to stock).

Please note that on the rare occasion that couriers aren't able to make a successful delivery to you, they will return your package to us. If you have not received your order within 72 working hours, please let us know.

Can I collect from the bakery?

Yes - we offer free Local Pick Up as an option when checking out for our customers in the neighbourhood but please note, you won't be able to select 'Local Pick Up' if you pay via Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal (and we can't control this!).

Do you ship overseas?

You can find our latest information about Delivery Zones here.

Can I order online?

Yes, we are happy to have a good selection of our products available at our online shop which are shipped directly from the bakery. You can also order monthly granola with our handy subscription service

Do I have to pay taxes and duties on international orders?

Prices displayed on our website do not include taxes or duties.

Once your order is shipped, Husk & Honey will not be responsible for paying your country’s import duties, customs or local sales taxes.
Your local carrier will contact you with details for any further payments required by your country.

Please note, all International orders are final sale and may not be returned or exchanged. Husk & Honey is not responsible for international shipments lost in transit, nor international import duties, customs or local sales taxes.

Where's my order?

When your order leaves our bakery it gets assigned a Parcelforce tracking number, which is emailed you (if in doubt, check your Spam folder!).

You can then enter your tracking number in their Parcel Tracking dashboard, and find out when your package will be with you.

If all else fails, you can always contact us.

How does your subscription service work?
