The Bakery Bulletin | Vol. 6

Keep on keeping on.

February, apparently.

It comes as much as a surprise to us as it does to anyone that it's February already. Whilst January might've been an exercise in dusting off the Holiday cobwebs, February brings with it the first glimpses of Spring, and the distant promise of Summer. As such, we've found ourselves looking forward with hope, a shimmer of excitement and working on some serious granola plans for 2021.

No one likes a price rise, but here we are

Firstly, we need to bite the bullet. Over the last two years we've slowly seen the costs of our ingredients and overheads creep up and - despite our (genuine) best efforts to keep retailing our products at the same prices - it's just not feasible anymore.

We are dedicated to bringing you the best quality products that you deserve, and, to achieve this, you’ll notice some prices increases across the range, starting from March 1st.

As an indication of the kind of increase you can expect, our 450g boxes of Classic Granola will be retailing at £6.80, up from £6.50.

We know that price rises are rubbish, but we hope you understand and we’ll keep beavering away to bring you the products you know and love.

"A Husk & Honey on every corner"

In lighter and brighter news, we are over the moon to bring so many new stockists into the fold in the last few months!

We've got Butter & Crust bicycling their weekend breakfast boxes across South London, Sparrow's End Farm Shop serving the good people of Saffron Walden, old-time coffee favourite Mousetail Coffee stocking us at their new general goods store in Deptford, The Clarence Tavern in Stoke Newington, Trude's Grocery in Clapham, The Quarter Store in Hackney, The Barn in Chicester, Daisy & Tilly's Shop on the Hill in Shrewsbery, Ingredients Woodstock in, well, Woodstock, The Collective in Caversham, The Grocery Post in Highgate... the list goes on, and on.

If you know a local general goods store, cafe or zero waste market near you that you'd love to see H&H in - let us know! We love working with new independent stores, and are always happy to talk Wholesale.

Limited Editions, and a Valentine's Special

In an attempt to bring more of what the people want to, well, the people - we're having a bit of a change up to the Limited Edition schedule too!

We'll be running a select few Limited Edition blends each month, and these will be available for a whole four weeks - no more blink and you'll miss it Saturday sales.

In February you can expect;

- Rosewater, Cardamom & Pistachio

- Maple, Pecan & Roast Banana

- Blood Orange & Goji Berry

And, for a bit of extra Valentine's frisson, a Chocolate & Raspberry blend ❤️

If you want to be the first to know when these blends are out of the ovens and ready, you can sign up per product page to get an email alert the second they're back in stock.

And that's it for this month! A wordy one, but thanks for sticking with it.

Now, off to find ourselves some socially distanced Valentine's...
