Granola Making Course 20/8
100% of proceeds will go directly to Ukrainian Support
Ever wondered, 'What temperature should I bake my granola?', 'Why does the fruit always burn?', or even just fancied a crack at developing and baking your very own recipe at an award-winning cereal bakery?
In this 6 hour workshop, you'll learn the about the different ingredients and flavour pairings whilst planning and making a bespoke granola blend to take home.
Our team will guide you through the various ingredients and techniques for baking delicious home-baked granola as well as providing a fantastic breakfast, lunch and refreshments throughout the day.
You'll finish with a kilo of your very own personalised granola blend, as well as a recipe book full of tips, tricks and ideas.
At the end of the course, you'll be able to surprise a loved one with a fresh bag of your very own, unique granola which we'll send out straight from the bakery.
This half day workshop is suitable for all experience levels.
In Support of Ukraine
On 24th February 2022, Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine using missiles, artilery and aviation. 8 years ago, Russia annexed the Ukranian territory of Crimea and invaded the Donbas region.
They have since intensified efforts to destabilise Ukraine and will keep going until stopped by a substancial military resistance.

All proceeds from our workshops are going directly to support Ukraine and its communities who have been affected by the war.
Viika, 23, joined our team in May, days after a dangerous journey to the UK for refuge. Meanwhile, her country and childhood memories were being bombed. Viika spent her 23rd birthday in a bomb shelter.
We are volunteering time, space, expertise & ingredients to ensure 100% of proceeds from our workshops go to support urgent Ukrainain initiatives as identified by Viika. See below for more detail on these initiatives.
What to expect
What should I bring?
We have a little storage at the bakery, but not a huge amount, so please travel fairly light (do let us know if you would need to bring any big bags). We'd also advise you bring a tote bag to take your granola at the end of the workshop.
What times do these workshops run?
All of our Saturday workshops run from 9am until 3.30. Please arrive at 9am - we will do uniform, visitors forms and serve breakfast between 9am and 9.30am.
Is there a lunchbreak?
Yes! We'll serve a lunch of sandwiches at 1.00 when you'll also have the opportunity to visit the other arches in Bermondsey until 2pm. We'll also be serving breakfast at 9am and provide refreshments throughout the day.
What if I'm running late?
Dont worry, it happens! Please call us on xxx if you think you're going to be late. We'll need to start on time but we'll do our best to bring you up to speed!
What should I wear?
Please wear comfortable closed toe shoes (trainers are fine), no high heels, short clean nail beds and you'll need to tie your hair back. We'll provide a headband, chef jacket and apron. If its a warm day, you can wear your own light top under the jacket, if its cold, you can layer up with jumpers under the jacket.
What is included in the ticket cost?
Well, 100% of your ticket cost is going to charity, so, if you like, £120 of donation towards initiatives to support Ukrainians.
Moreover, we'll provide (from our own funds) a breakfast and lunch. You'll be baking 2 kilos of your own granola blend and included in the ticket is delivery of some of your personalised granola to a friend anywhere in the UK. Sharing is caring.
Where are you based? I'm lost!
If you have googlemaps, search for Rail Sidings Road - we are directly behind the pub garden.
